It’s been a busy day for Kate Middleton – and her hair. On Tuesday, the Princess of Wales stepped out for a series of royal engagements in Bradford. She made multiple stops and switched up her look throughout the day, keeping royal-watchers on their toes.
First, Kate paid a visit to Family Action’s Children’s Trauma Therapy Service, where she is a patron of a charity offering creative therapies “helping children and families recover from complex trauma through play, creativity and compassionate support”, according to a post on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official Instagram account. She wore her hair down in soft face-framing waves, and sported a Holland Cooper double-breasted blazer, brown wide-leg trousers from Jigsaw (where she famously worked as a graduate back in 2006), and Emmy London heels.
Later in the day, she continued her official duties with a stop at a local rugby league club, Wakefield Trinity, where she chatted with teenage players. (The princess is a patron of the Rugby Football League and a noted fan of the sport.)
Finally, she switched up her look entirely, opting for a DIY braid and an outdoorsy look for a guided walk with Mind Over Mountains, a charity that combines nature, movement, and mental health support for holistic wellbeing. For the event, the princess wore a Really Wild Baker Boy hat, a Dubarry of Ireland olive jacket, and Berghaus walking shoes. (The nature walk also perfectly aligns with Kate’s recent video message about the healing power of nature.) Multiple hair and outfit changes? For the Princess of Wales, it’s all in a day’s work.
