Whether it’s her eclectic digital footprint, internet-addled soundbites or her brief cameo in HBO’s ill-fated The Idol, Rachel Sennott occupies a very specific space in the hearts and minds of chronically online zillennials. Since her anxiety-inducing breakout in Shiva Baby, the actor, director and part-time TikTokker has had twenty and thirty-somethings firmly in her grasp – drip-feeding words of wisdom, cautionary tales and dissociative musings via Instagram Stories and her recent TV show, I Love LA.

That convincing and frequently stressful run as a talent agent on the brink aside, Sennott is also part of the star-studded cast of Charli XCX’s meta mockumentary The Moment, and appeared at Sundance Film Festival as part of this year’s brattiest on-screen cohort. Not unlike her I Love LA alter-ego, Sennott’s style is a melting pot of archival treasures (presumably plucked from Aralda Vintage) jumbled together with new-season naked dresses.

Among the early press-tour highlights: a fluffy cropped Chloé jacket, a vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress in minty fresh satin quilting, and the occasional off-the-runway Alexander McQueen moment thrown in for good measure. With the press circuit for this year’s hottest mockumentary only just getting started, we can presumably look forward to plenty more micro minis, kiss curls and pouts from a woman who just might be the voice of a generation.
