Where most people are linked by six degrees of separation, celebrities are often joined by just one. Whether it’s a talented nail technician, lymphatic drainage specialist or wizard dermatologist, the best in the business are usually a shared commodity.

Widely known as The Beauty Sandwich (his Instagram handle and patented skincare philosophy), Pol also counts Golden Globe winner Teyana Taylor, Sabrina Carpenter, Penélope Cruz, Anya Taylor-Joy and Jenna Ortega among his sparkling clientele. This week, both Stone and Bella Hadid visited him for his signature “snatching” facial.

Pol, who also treats Victoria Beckham, uses a layering approach in his facials, sandwiching his “secret sauce” between layers of radio frequency and infra-red light devices. Versions of his special sauce are bottled and sold – there’s the SS02, a sculpting face oil packed with skin-renewing ceramides, fatty acids and antioxidants, along with SS01 – a brightening iteration for plumper, dewier, luminescent skin.
Stone is a Pol regular, visiting him before film premieres, award shows, fashion week appearances, press junkets and Vogue covers. His “Emma recipe”, as he calls it, includes two custom “sandwiches” designed to plump, lift and tighten her visage.
