It’s fair to say it’s been a Beckham-heavy week for the culture. But just when the world’s most talked-about family seemed to be taking a backseat to the Traitors finale, they’re back in the spotlight once again, thanks to Romeo’s appearance on the Willy Chavarria runway in Paris this afternoon.
You could say he was born to do it. Having grown up sitting front row at his mother Victoria’s shows, appearing on the catwalk himself presumably felt like a natural next step.
In October 2024, the then 22-year-old second son of Britain’s other royal family made his debut at Demna’s spring/summer 2025 Balenciaga show in Paris. Then came a surprise cameo at Milan Fashion Week the following season, where Romeo walked the Versace autumn/winter 2025 runway. That time, the burgeoning catwalk star appeared amidst a seasoned line-up that included Lila Moss and Alex Consani, wearing a silver chainmail top and embellished gloves.
Romeo doesn’t shy away from the spotlight when off-duty, either, taking cues from his famous parents’ even more famous fashion moments. Recently, he dabbled in couples dressing with girlfriend Kim Turnbull, when the pair stepped out in a matchy-matchy leather look that harked back to the legendary Posh and Becks Gucci motocross era. Back in Paris, Romeo’s runway look felt decidedly everyday, the kind of pop-to-the-shop or papped-with-girlfriend look we’ve come to expect from this particular Beckham Junior.
